Axessor CIT
One time
Codes

Network
Highly configurable with any combination of stand alone bank mode, one time codes and networking, sets the benchmark in flexible security.
The Axessor CIT caters and adapts to your business requirements today and in the future; allowing customers to use the functions they require now and activate others later as your business and security requirements change.
Modes of Operation
Rolling Codes
A rolling code is a code that is generated with a special software to open a safe lock and will only work once. In Axessor CIT, this software is known as AS 274 server management software. At set up the lock and software need to be configured to enable the rolling code operation. To generate the code, the software has security gateways to pass and requires user and lock credentials. There are two types of rolling codes that can be used to open an Axessor CIT.
ICS (Interactive Code System)
is a highly secure OTC because it requires interaction between the lock, the user and the AS 274 software which verifies the user is on site at the lock.
The process to generate an ICS code is;
The user registers at the lock with a personal ID. The ICS ensures on site presence and generates a temporary, person-related and situational specific One Time Question. –> The user then forwards this question to the AS 274 software for verification of the data. –> The software then generates an ICS one time code to open the lock.
OTC (One Time Code)
is a code that opens an Axessor CIT and will only work once. The code is generated using information from the user and the lock. This information once entered into AS 274 software will generate an OTC and does not require the user to be physically at the lock. The code does not have time limits applied to it so is active until the code is used. Once used the code becomes invalid.
Bank Mode
Bank mode commonly referred to as permanent staff mode, is the conventional electronic safe lock mode that would be used by normal staff to access the safe. Users have their own individual code that will open the lock as dictated by the programmed features that have been enabled in the lock, such as time lock or time delay.
Dual CIT Mode
Dual CIT Mode (DM) combines the functionality of both ICS and OTC code systems. By combining the functionality, the lock requires both a valid OTC and ICS to open.
Mixed Mode
Mixed mode allows the lock to operate independently in two of the modes above. An example would be Bank mode for permanent staff and OTC mode for cash in transit staff.
Axessor CIT can also be networked at any time by adding an optional eBox. In addition to the standard bank mode operation, this lock offers one time combination mode for CIT operations. It integrates the known ICS algorithm as well as the simple OTC function. Axessor CIT is backwards compatible with Questor locks and integrates seamlessly into existing Questor management software.
Operation in ICS or OTC mode is completely E-Key free. The lock is virtually linked to the management software by the proprietary algorithm and the opening and closing codes exchanged between the lock and the software. The more sophisticated and patented ICS mode includes a programmable code expiry time, duress notification function and power level monitoring for battery and external power supply.
The synergies gained by Mixed-mode (parallel mode) operation in the Axessor CIT is vastly superior to other safe locks. For instance, while a lock is in a time locking period, the normal bank mode operation can be backed up by an emergency opening using one time code operation. There are other combinations of how the different operating modes can be combined to suit the exact requirements of any organisation.
Features
The Axessor CIT has a feature set that is unrivalled in any other safe lock. The features can be combined and then configured in countless ways to suit the exact requirements of any organisation. Unused features can remain in the background and be configured at a later stage if required again providing further future proofing.
Time Delay
Opening delay
Once a valid code is entered, the lock only opens after the configured time delay has elapsed. A time delay can be set between 0 and 99 minutes.
Non-return time delay
Once the lock has become closed, it cannot be opened for the set time period. Programmable from 0 (not active) to 99 hours with AS 284 Programming Software.
Definable Time delay and duress delay by Group
The time delay period before the lock can be opened can be varied dependant on whether a duress code is used or a normal code. The delay is also individually customised for each of the four User Groups.
Time related dual mode
Dual mode can be toggled on or off during specified time periods. This can be configured to allow you to require two users to open the safe for the first time the safe is opened and thereafter require a single user, or require a single user normally and switch to requiring a second user. The times this can be applied are separately configurable for each of the User Groups 1, 2 & 3.
Time related time delay
It is possible to vary the time delay during specified time periods to either extend the time delay or even remove it entirely. This is separately configurable for each of the User Groups 1, 2 & 3.
Time related code disabling
This function allows for User Groups 1, 2 & 3 to be denied opening access to the lock during certain times of the day. For example having a group able to access the safe in the morning, and a different group able to access in the afternoon.
Time delay count up, down or off
The display of time delay counting can be configured to either count ascending or descending. The display of the count can also be disabled entirely. This is a display setting only, the counting of time delay is unaffected.
First Open Time delay extension
The first opening of a time lock open window can be set to operate with a longer time delay. During the remaining open window, the lock can open with a different or even no time delay.
First Open Dual
The first opening of a time window can be set to require 2 valid codes to open. During the remaining time lock open window the lock will open with a single valid code.
Axessor CIT is the ideal safe lock for security on all safes, ATM’s and other security products. Combining all the essential features of a secure multi-user standalone safe lock, a networked lock and one time code lock, the Axessor CIT offers superior versatility.
Audit Trail
An Audit log of 10,000 events can be downloaded on site via the USB connection to the lock or if configured, remotely via a network. This enables authorised personnel to analyse lock activities.
Time functions
Daylight Savings Time (DLST)
Axessor CIT can adjust for automatic daylight savings time and can be programmed through the AS284 programming software.
Immediate time lock [hh:mm]
This function permits activation of a locking period with immediate action. Upon closing the lock it cannot be opened for the programmed duration. Example: For shorter business hours due to a public holiday, the time until the beginning of the regular locking period can be bridged.
Time locking
Up to 35 weekly locking periods repeated time windows can be defined, during which the lock cannot be opened (e.g. outside business opening hours).
22 holiday and annual locking periods
This function permits defining of up to 22 daterelated time windows, during which the lock cannot be opened (e.g. during holidays or on public holidays). Each holiday can be up to 35 days long and can be set as yearly repeatable.
8 time lock interruption periods
Remote disabling
Display of next opening time can be selected
In its standard version, the Axessor CIT electronic safe lock is battery powered and consist of the input unit, the lock and the connection cable. The lock includes two inputs and two outputs. Optionally, an external power supply (6VDC/500mA) can be connected.
Code Functions
4 hierarchy levels
1 master, 4 managers, 36 operators, 1 courier. The Master Code is the highest code within the code hierarchy. It cannot be deleted. 4 Manager Codes (Manager Code 1 to Manager Code 4) are available. Each Manager Code can administrate a group of User Codes. A total of 36 User Codes in 4 groups of up to 9 each can be defined. User Codes can be defined even if no Manager Code is active. 1 Courier Code can be provided to personnel filling/emptying secured containers (CIT – Cash-In-Transit Services) without any programmed Time Delays being of relevance.
Duress code can be selected, +/- 0..9
If the lock is connected to an external alarm system, a silent duress alarm (unnoticeable to the aggressor) can be initiated by the operator. The way to trigger a duress alarm depends on the current operation mode.
