FINANCIAL

The LA GARD 703-2FA provides security administrators an extra level of control via a two-factor authentication which requires both a code that they know and a FOB that they possess to open.

HIGH SECURITY STORAGE

Multi-factor authentication is now a way of life and for good reason. When securing valuables of any nature the ability of the LA GARD 703-2FA requiring multiple factors to be presented prior to opening only enhances the security of the locking solution.

WHERE EASILY VALIDATED AUDIT TRAILS ARE REQUIRED

The LA GARD 703-2FA can be used to eliminate the potential for code sharing which in some cases invalidates the audit trail. 2FA provides the ability to prove the custody of the Bluetooth FOB which in turn can enhance the validity of the audit trail.

The LA GARD 703-2FA is the next generation of safe locks

The LA GARD 703-2FA is the next generation of safe locks and supersedes the legacy LA GARD Audit 66E with Dallas. The LA GARD 703-2FA has been designed for those applications that require more robust security as it combines two factors to authenticate an opening being,

  • something the user knows which is their code.
  • something the users possess which is a Bluetooth token.

The two-factor authentication (2FA) is to prevent code sharing and can be used to further verify the validity of the audit trail.

The LA GARD 703-2FA builds on the legacy of the LA GARD Audit range with increased features and functionality. The LA GARD 703-2FA can accommodate more users than the previous 66E models, has an OLED screen to review and navigate menus, plus the industry benchmark EMD feature. This safe lock has a 500 event audit trail of which the last 50 events can be viewed via the OLED screen.

The LA GARD 703-2FA is a perfect fit for security administrators that need the added protection of two-factor authentication to further enforce the validity of the audit trail. The clear feedback from the lock confirming functions both visually on the OLED screen and via flashes and sounds make the lock simple for all users and managers.

The safe lock also incorporates all the standard high security functions such as EMD, time delay, time delay override, remote lock out*, duress alarm*, and 30 user codes. The LA GARD 703-2FA is also available in the redundant lock option that provides a lock that can be opened electronically normally, but in the event of failure it can be opened via a 4-wheel mechanical lock. The redundant lock feature is perfect for isolated and remote applications such as mine sites.

The additional features include,

· 2FA code plus Bluetooth FOB
· 500 event audit trail
· Redundant lock

The LA GARD 703 2FA is available in a redundant lock, swing bolt, deadbolt or spring bolt and includes the option of either a high profile or low-profile input pad.

*Requires the use of an alarm box connected to an alarm panel.

Features

OLED SCREEN

The OLED screen provides enhanced user feedback of all valid and invalid entries, including allowing the manager to immediately view the most recent 50 audit events.

BATTERY DRAWER

LA GARD 703 2FA is powered by 2 x 9 volt batteries housed in the keypad. When the low-profile keypad is used, a separate battery box with 2 x 9 volt batteries must be fitted inside the container. The LA GARD 703 2FA can also be powered from the mains with peripheral equipment.

High profile model allows easy access with battery drawer pull out with 2 x 9 volts – works in tandem to prolong battery life.

LOCK TYPES AVAILABLE

  • 700-SQB Square Bolt
  • 700-SPB Spring Bolt
  • 700-SWB Swing Bolt
  • 700-REDUND Redundant Lock

BOLT SWITCH

Available for this series to capture audits on the bolt panel.

SOFTWARE FOR 702 AUDIT

  • Download and view the audit trail.
  • Functionality is configured through the keypad or software.
  • Support EMD via updating the firmware.extracted to a PC.

MASTER MODE

Provides administrators an additional level of management making deployment and programming of the lock more flexible to meet an enterprise security protocol.

MANAGER MODE

Allows the Manager to add/delete or enable/disable up to 30 additional Users.

CODE HIERARCHY

Master, Manager and up to 30 opening codes. Master code can add, disable and delete users at the lock.

DUAL MODE

Requires the use of two valid combinations to open the lock.

LOW BATTERY SIGNAL

Repeated LED flashing and beeping during opening indicates battery is low and needs replacement.

TIME DELAY

Entering a valid combination starts the delay period which can be programmed from 0 to 99 minutes. If a staff member is under duress this feature is designed to prevent the lock from being opened immediately. Used together with appropriate business signage, time delay is a widely used deterrent against theft.

TIME DELAY OVERRIDE MODE

A time delay override code can be enabled to allow immediate access for an authorised user such as a cash carrier.

DURESS ALARM

Duress alarm (silent alarm) if enabled can interface with an alarm panel by an interface box. The user can trigger a duress alarm while still opening the safe, allowing the authorities to be alerted without alerting the criminal. Alternatively, a duress interface can be used to remotely lockout the safe by your alarm provider.

LOCK DISABLE

An input signal from an alarm panel via an interface box can be used to disable the lock preventing even valid combinations from opening.

WRONG TRY PENALTY

Attempting to guess the combination more than 4 times will render the lock inactive for a period of 5 minutes.

DURABILITY

Environmentally tested from -10˚C to 85˚C

AUDIO AND VISUAL SIGNAL

Double signal
Two LED flashes and two beeps indicates entry is valid or accepted.
Triple signal
